LIFE CAN BE CHALLENGING...

We live in a busy world and may find ourselves expected to constantly juggle multiple priorities requiring limitless energy, or we may find ourselves feeling lonely amidst the busyness that surrounds us.  We may be faced with work pressures, difficulties in relationships, anxiety or a sense of hopelessness.  Sometimes we may experience an underlying dissatisfaction with our life, perhaps feeling as though we are living the life that others expected of us but not the one we might wish for ourselves.  We may rarely find time to stop and reflect and often it is not until a crisis that we slow things down or are forced to stop.  

As we move through life we experience difficult times, perhaps a trauma, a bereavement, a transition, parenthood, work changes, relationship breakdowns and health problems.  It can seem a tough ride that we have to face, doing our best to cope, to stay strong or to just get by.  The thought of talking with someone may feel frightening, embarrassing or perhaps as though you have failed in some way; it can feel a difficult step to take.  And yet the opportunity to talk things through with a trained professional in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental setting can be the first step to leading a more fulfilled life.
